Bell Ringers for the Salvation Army!

Description: We need smiling faces that greet holiday shoppers with the sound of the Salvation Army Bell.       Bring your instruments or your singing voices for extra holiday cheer!

Qualifications: All people who have a “Happy Holiday Spirit” ready to share a smile and a big,
"Merry Christmas" to passing customers.

Location: Throughout Washington County

Date: November 14 - December 24

Time: various times available

Minimum Age: 12 (adult supervision needed for those under 14)

  • The volunteer rate for teenagers increased by 1.4 percent between 2007 and 2008 (from 24.5% to 25.9%). That means more than a quarter of all teenagers are volunteering!

  • Teenagers contributed more than 427 million volunteer hours in 2008!
